Wow John Perkins is coming to speak in Salem as part of the MyPeace project. John is of course a New York Times best selling author. He has written several books including his most famous book; “Confessions of An Economic Hitman“. John will be speaking at Willamette University at 7:30 PM on Tuesday September 21 in the Smith Auditorium. His is an interesting tale of economic shenanigans on the part of U.S corporations and the American Government. It is a true story that reads like a James Bond book. So come see John speak about this subject and hey the event is free. What a deal.

This is the first daily post for MyPeace. New events are being added almost daily. Today we added M.C. Mehta, a speaker on global climate change. We also got confirmation that a choral group, The Noteables, will be appearing at our performance art event on Oct. 10.
In less than three weeks, on September 21, John Perkins, best-selling author of “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man,” will be speaking at Willamette University. This is a speech you won’t want to miss. Word of mouth is critical, so spread the word about MyPeace. Look for more daily postings here.
